Our Story

Our relationships and experience in retaildistributionmanufacturing, cultivation and branding are an enduring advantage. We’ve coupled this with access to the Canadian financial markets creating a strategic platform for growth and development. No particular vertical is sought out, rather we look to partner with companies that innovate, who have authenticity and have built knowledge and trust in their particular area of expertise. Our underlining goal is to bring together like-minded individuals who believe in the long-term strength of the industry and who believe that one company’s success is of benefit to the entire industry.

GCI Corp’s first “brick” in our foundation for growth was our acquisition of Home Blown Glassware (HBG), founded in 1995. HBG is PUFF, a retailer with four award-winning retail stores in Vancouver, Canada – and brand equity that reaches as far as Australia and Asia. HBG is also a wholesaler: Westone Distribution boasts more than 5,000 product SKUs and 500 wholesale partners throughout North America.

With this acquisition, we collectively captured 45-years of trust and authenticity within the cannabis industry. Now, we’re positioned to leverage this foundation to build relationships globally with companies who are interested developing the ‘best in class’ for the entire industry.  Our team has decades of experience and are committed to sharing knowledge and best-practices so that growth is fast, efficient and profitable.
